Tow companies are required to report to the local police department whenever a vehicle is towed "at owner expense". For instance, if you left your vehicle in a parking lot at a business, or left your vehicle in someone's driveway and we were called to remove it. You can call the local police department and they can tell you who towed your vehicle and where your vehicle is located.

You should call local PD and inquire. Towed away vehicles should be reported to local PD within 2 hours of the tow. Please Call Reliable Towing & Wrecker Service 214-603-4158

It really depends on where it was towed from. If the place where it was towed from was an Apartment Complex, Living Community, Shopping Center or any privately owned land as listed it they would have signs posted informing you what company patrols the property and it will have the towing company's name and number posted. If you were on state, county or city public land you can contact the State, County or City law enforcement department and they'll have that information for you.

If your vehicle was towed and you don't know who towed it or where it's been taken, there are a few steps you can take to find out:Check for any signs or stickers on the spot where your vehicle was parked that may indicate who towed it. Many towing companies will leave a business card or other contact information.Contact your local police department. They may have information about the tow and where your vehicle was taken.Search for nearby impound lots or towing companies. Look in the phonebook, or search online for towing companies or impound lots in your area. You can also check with nearby repair shops or dealerships to see if they know where your vehicle was taken. If you find the towing company you can contact them and ask if they have your vehicle and the reason why it was towed. You will also be able to find information on how to retrieve your vehicle and what the costs will be.Try calling non-emergency number of your local police department and see if they can give you any information on where your car may be, they may have a record of the tow.
