Frequently asked questions

How long does it take a tow truck to get to me?

Our response time varies based on other call volume and location.  Our trucks are hardly ever at the shop.  We cover most of Pinellas County and each driver typically has their next call or two dispatched to them before they are finished with the call they are on.  We offer Automatic Text services so you get a message when we input your information, when we are on our way and when the job is completed!

What processes has your company put in place to protect customers and employees from COVID-19?

To protect both our drivers as well as our customers, currently passengers are not allowed to ride in our trucks. This is for the safety both of our drivers but also for our customers. With our drivers having to get in and out of customer vehicles and touch steering wheels they are already at a heightened exposure and we do not want to pass that on to a customer. We also want to reduce our drivers exposure as much as possible. We can accomplish this by not allowing passengers for the time being and stock each truck with ample hand sanitizer to continue to help slow the spread of the Virus. We hope that all of customers are understanding and would take the same precautions for their family members.

How has COVID-19 affected your business?

We were greatly affected by this Virus.  Our oldest child is immunocompromised as well as other immediate family members.  Our business volume dropped off by over 50% and we had to reduce our staff.  Fortunately we were able to bring everyone back who felt comfortable working in the precautions we have taken.

How much does it cost to tow a car 10 miles?
For Light Duty vehicles we charge a $60 hook fee and $4.00 per mile.  For a 10 miles tow, it would only be $100.00.
